If I were to install the WWDC 2007 version of Leopard on my 13" MB, right over my existing Tiger (10.4.10) would I lose all my files, or anything else currently on my Macintosh HD?

okay... that was a weird post.. i have never done it with mac, but with all my windowz experience, it would require you to do what mac calls a clean install, and you would loose all your files and settings. i'm not 100% sure on this for mac. but you should back up your files anywayz. and since you would be using a beta, keeping all your files backed up would be a good idea.

Where is this WWDC beta coming from? Unless you are a WWDC Developer, you are installing an illegal OS on your system. That is against the law and forum rules.

Yeah, any developer who needs help to answer this kind of question wasted $500 on their ADC membership.

I am sure you can upgrade from Tiger to Leopard. So far every version of OSX has allowed upgrading. We will know for sure the end of the year, but I would almost bet on it unless they changed the filesystem.

I entirely agree. I do hope he knows more about coding than OS X installs otherwise let's just say I'll avoid his software... :Smirk:

And you are an ADC member then, presumably...?
