G5 stability and buy info

How stable are the g5's? I want to get one of the single, maybe a dual but I have got alot of suggestions to wait till july or august and see what apple says about the new g5's and see if the prices come down a bit. But I really want one now, should I do it or wait?

Definitely wait. If you buy now you'll be forced to go with a slower model than if you waited. There's almost no doubt that the prices will drop significantly (they're already offering $500 off 1.6GHz G5s to developers) after they release new ones. You'll be able to get a faster model at a lower price if you wait. After all, it's only a month away
