iChat: Text messaging possible?

Is it possible to send text messages to cell phones via iChat? In AIM, for instance, I could just type "+phone#" as the buddy name to send a text message to someone.

If not... any recommended widgets to do this. I'd prefer one that works over the internet as opposed to going through my phone via bluetooth.

yes. you just enter the buddy name as you said above: +(11digit phone number)

i use it a lot to text with my husband.
