OS X 10.4.9 Mac cannot see Windows 2003 server

Help!

I have a G5

Since upgrading to OS X 10.4.9 the system cannot search for data on the Windows 2003 server

1. It also cannot see OS 9 and appleshare with older machines
2. It cannot search for items on a Windows 2003 PC platform server why is this?

Can it be resolved?

Is there any Apple update for this?

What do you mean "search for data" ?
The volume is mounted but you cant search for files in the volume?

Yes, the windows server mounts but when i do a search with the finder
i can type any thing in and know it is there but it will not come back with any search results.

Hm thats odd. Are you sure it's just not taking a long time? Look for the spinning indicator at the bottom right of the window. On mine it takes a god aweful time.
