Don't have the required authorization?

I tried to delete some old programs I wasn't using anymore but every time I try the OS won't let me. Anyone know how to override that lock?

Also two apps are closing at odd times, Guitar-pro won't finish loading before quitting and MSN Messenger quits when I close some conversations...
