The funny thing is that I accept the claim that we're causing global warming but I still don't like Gore. Perhaps it's because he doesn't really believe in the free market despite the CONSENSUS of economists whose studies conflict with Gore's world-view. It reminds me of an anonymous quote that I heard, "Conservatives don't know what science is, and liberals only selectively apply it." I'm a bigger fan of people like Michael Shermer, Richard Dawkins, and other people who apply reason and rationality to ALL aspects of life instead of Gore, who only applies it to things that are consistent with his ideology. Gore is right and his science is sound, but I wish he'd actually apply his penchant for environmental science to the rest of his belief system and put his other beliefs under the same scrutiny.
