help with real player and the bbc

Hi,
Could anyone help me, I used to be able to listen to the bbc but had a power cut, after that realplayer stopped working, I reinstalled and it still didn't work. I tried it again yesterday and it worked out of the trash and today it won't work again. My mac is fairly old now but works fine in all other respects I'm not hugely computer literate but if abyone could give me some idea of what to do to get the bbc again I'd be really grateful.

the bbc has a trouble shooting page on their site.

an odd fix that worked for lots of people was to open

and close garageband!!! - that is of course if you have garageband on your

mac.

try it anyway - it worked for me after real player had stopped working on my macbook
