Hi! I'm pretty new to OSX and am wondering if there is a "run dialog" of sorts like in Windows or Gnome. I'm so used to hitting Windows Key + R to run simple commands, that it would be awesome if there is something similar here.

Thanks!

Your Mac's Specs
Power Mac G5 Dual 1.8 GHz
Spotlight more or less does that.

Click top right corner or press Command Space. (Command = the "Apple key")
note: If you've enabled more than one keyboard language, it might be Control Space instead.

one slight inconvenience though:
You have to hit Down Arrow once to go to the Top Hit.

But I believe I've read that in Leopard, the Top Hit will be automatically selected by default.
