I've just started using mac mail (I receive mail from 2 accounts and send through one of them). I've bee getting junk mail and my preferences for the junk mail deal are set to "training."

Will I have to change it to the next step up (automatically move to trash)? or will it change automatically? ALSO, should i leave the junk mail in my inbox for the time being for training purposes or can i delete it completely?

Once you feel Mail has begun marking your junk mail correctly, you can switch it to automatically move those messages. I get very little Spam, so I had it set to automatic from the start. Every now and then, I check my junk folder, because Mail puts the number of new messages besides it anyway, which urges me to check.

But to me, Mail has been doing a fairly good job right from the start.
