Leopard question

i plan on gettin Leopard when it comes out. will i have to backup my current HD onto an external HD or can i just install Leopard without having to do anything else? i've never upgraded on a Mac

Yes, you can just upgrade. A backup is always recommended though.

my leopard upgrade brought all my files, software, settings, and everything to the new OS with only a couple of problems

1. missing sync didnt make it for some reason

2. make sure you remove the httpmail plugin if you have that installed because it will cause an error in mail and mail will not open
