ok, so i just picked up a powerbook g3 yesterday. the specs are
233mhz, 96mb ram, 4mb vid, with a 2gb hdd

i have a version of winamp that works on here for playing mp3's, but i need something to play avi files and what not. i got a trip coming up this weekend, and i wanna bring it along with me so i can play my burned video discs.
it has quicktime, but its an older version, and i couldnt find a newer version on the apple website, how ironic.

can anybody help me out?

That's a pretty old machine, I'm not sure that newer versions of Quicktime will work on it. I take it you're running OS 9?
