having trouble opening DMG files

Hi, I have run into a bit of a problem,
I am trying to install a program, but when I try to mount the dmg file, I get an error saying "codec overrun". Anyone have any idea what this is or what i can do to resolve this?

What .dmg file are you trying? Let me see if it works for me. Ive been looking into it and people said that it is usually caused by it not being downloaded fully.

Dude had the same problem with another program and one other dude made 2 suggestions.

i ran into this (or similar) trying to launch from a sub folder off of a usb drive. i moved the file onto the mac desktop, mounted fine after that. good luck.
