Hi everyone I am having a very serious problem on my Macs, i cant map network drives properly!

heres the deal:
lets say this is the share that I want to mount that is on a server 2003 machine.

/share/share1/share2

When I mount that directory it maps to "Share1" which users have no read/write access to so it shows up blank.

Do you guys have any idea how I can fix this?

Thanks!

Closer than you think.

Don't nest shares.

Use permissions below shares for access, but don't nest shares.

The problem is, I do not have control over how the shares are setup, is there anyway to mount that properly, maybe a command through terminal or something?

When using cmd+K try entering

smb://ServerIP/Share/Share1/Share2
