I've used Acquisition for some time (runs on the Limewire network, among others). I can also highly recommend Transmission...great, simple, easy to set up BitTorrent client, plus it's free.

How many posts about this are there? Does any one do a search before posting?

The "search" button should be more visible on forums, or someone could put up a huge notice about searching before asking at the top of the page.

Anyway, I hope a uTorrent for the MAC comes out soon since it's a great program.

I think it's right there in the Forum rules, which of course are read by EVERYONE ;-)

At present there are no known virus's on the Mac for OSX, but yes, you COULD download a PC virus and then unknowingly pass it on through a network or in an email. I don't use anti-viral software and so far, touch wood, have not passed anything on. I wouldn't worry about it, but if you have a PC networked to your Mac, it's probably not a bad idea to get some screening in place.

If you're talking about P2P, probably Transmission because it is one of the lightest Bittorrent clients out there.
