i just bought a powerbook g4

hey guys i just bought a powerbook g4 from my girlfriends friend friend and it goes into sleep randomly and wont come of it for a while. does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

if you just bought it and there is nothing on the hard drive maybe you should just do a clean install of tiger and see if that solves the question. hopefully you received the disc when you purchased it.

yeah well i bought it off of some guy for really cheap. so i dont have any disks or anything for it. and its 3 years old. i don tknow what to do.
