ejecting the cdtray in os9

Hi there, i have a powermacg4 800 quicksilver, working in os 9.2.2

im using a normal usb keyboard without the eject key on it. how can i eject the cd tray with this keyboard?

any help would be appreciated.

i had the same problem, but i found a simple solution. Go to Apple CD player and press eject CD. Works like a charm.

If you have the Control Strip enabled, you can use the Eject section.

for some reason, that doesn,t work for me sometimes. oh well. i hate OS 9. i just toy around with it when im bored.

Here's a 3rd Party option from Macally @ http://www.macally.com/techsupport/faq/faq_iwebkey.html( I haven't tried this myself ):

1. Download the OpenTray folder file. (Clicking on the link will automatically download the file to your Desktop)
2. Copy the extension into yor Extensions Folder
3. Restart your computer
4. Press command+Esc, the CD tray will open or close
