multiple operating systems

Hi there just a quick question if any one can help. I have OS x 10.3 but als have classic 9 do i need both on here? seems to be very slow atm with 1gb ram on my emac.

MB White 160GB, 2GB RAM,
depends on the reason why you would want to keep the classic 9. Most of the time I would prefer to have the older ones when there are compatibility issues for the new version with the softwares i use. Otherwise I prefer only the new version.
