The RAZR v3i will do this, also, any phone that has music features and doesn't have crippled BlueTooth. Also, the RAZR V3c, V3m, and most of the razr line will do this. The LG Chocolate plays music. Seriously, just look at the manufacturers site. If you want the best music players, look in to a Sony Ericsson walkman phone.

Bear in mind that most cell phones will not work with drm protected music.

So whilst most phones out there can play unprotected aac and mp3 files from your ripped CD's, only the iTunes Plus drm-free tracks will work from the iTunes Store.

If it's an iTunes-drm compatible phone you're after, there's this new one coming out soon you might have heard of...

There are a bunch of tools available for syncing 3rd party phones with iTunes (iTunemywalkman is one for Sony Ericsson walkman phones).

I'm almost positive teh Motorola Rokr will play drm protected itunes music since it actually uses an itunes interface on the phone. Plus you can get them fairly cheap on ebay.

Oh yeah the Rokr will... but to be honest, I'd avoid the Rokr...

I would highly recommend getting a Motorola SLVR. The iTunes works great, and they are really nice, good quality phones!

Not all versions of the V3i or SLVR support iTunes. Look for it on the box. In Europe, for example, the RAZRs don't have iTunes (at least mine doesn't).

I totally agree that as a phone itself, its rubbish. But as aphone with a itunes music, it aint as horrible as what most think, mainly because it will play the protected music.
