I downloaded and installed 10.4.10 a couple of days ago, and since then, Firefox has crashed 3 times, and Safari and Adium have crashed once. Whilst using Google Earth, I was confronted by a white screen and after 10 minutes of a blank white screen had to unplug my iMac.

What should I do!?

Since I posted this, Safari has gone up to 2 crashes! WHAT THE BEEP IS GOING ON!??? Is there a bug in 10.4.10 or something?

EDIT: Safari seems to crash when loading RealPlayer files sometimes. It can do it sometimes, but in two of these occasions it crashed.

Have you run disc utility, repaired permissions and/or run Onyx to let it run the Cron scripts?

Well I did do Disk Utility a couple of days ago, maybe before .10, so i'll do it again in case.

Never heard of Onyx so i'll check it out.

I am also having problems with Safari crashing since 10.4.10. Firefox seems pretty solid though, and Opera 9.21 works well too.

In my case, Safari wobbliness isn't due to 10.4.10 (which I will be installing shortly). It has been acting pretty flaky lately, crashing regularly for me. The only thing I see would be the latest security update (not the one released a day or so ago but the one before that).

I usually kill all "Send report to Apple" but for this, I let them all fly to Cupertino even when I have three, four or five crashes a day.

I hope the WebKit guys get on this soon. :\

I had alot of problems too but I fixed safari crashing by upgrading to safari 3 (although some people have even more problems with this version) and installing the combo update. Working like a champ now =)

I updated to 10.4.10 and haven't had any problem in using Safari. BTW, I update the OSX regularly.

The only problem im having is an incompatibility issue concerning my Plantronics Audio 85 headset i use for iListen, after looking at the Macspeech website, there is a firmware conflict, naturally i did not know this till after i installed 10.4.10.

How do i go about restoring back to 10.4.9?
