Coconut Battery Results

Hey,

Got these results from Coconut battery on my 4 day old Macbook...

Current Battery Capacity: 4892
Original Battery Capacity: 5200

Battery Load Cycles: 3
Macbook Age: 7 Weeks

Is having 94% capacity sound normal for the notebooks age?

I've had mine for 7 weeks and coconut says i hvae 5421 out 5200 (dont nkow whow that is possible) so im going to say no.

Try almost completely draining your battery like 5 percent, then leave it in sleep mode for about a day. Then completely charge it. The recalibration should bring the battery and health back up.

I find a long slow drain then a 10 hour charge makes a big difference. I can get another 45 mins from the battery.

45min? yikes. I would think if the **** thing is charged, its charged. Rundown time shouldnt be affected by the HOW

Did you calibrate your battery?

Coconut claims my battery capacity is 5396 after 8 months, originally 5200... what's with that?

I have to assume that the battery can expand its capacity after calibration.

thats not a normal reduction. ring apple support as you get 90 days i think it is phone support before you have to use apple care.
