I have recently changed to Apple Mac after around 6 years with Windows P/C`s, and I am having trouble transferring my old windows files across to my iMac (Tiger).. Those I have tried to change come up on my Mac as EML Files and I don`t seem to be able to open them. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who could offer advice on how I can transfer these files to my Mac.
The files are photos, text messages and the like. Should anyone reply, may I ask that you make your advice as simple as possible ? Thank you for taking the time to read this,

3.4 Ghz i7 MacBook Pro (2015), iPad Pro (2014), iPhone Xs Max. Apple TV 4K
Is the file extension on a photos .eml? If so, have you tried just changing them to the correct extension?

How are you transferring them?
