Is there a way to remotely start up a user's mac?
I am using ARD 3.1 and the user is on an intel imac running 10.4.9

Call them and tell them to power it up.

You can only tell it to "Wake", not startup. And you have to be on the same LAN. It won't across the net for some reason.
