Does Anyone Else Think Leopard's dock is much cooler than Tiger's?

I've always hated Tiger's dock. The way it's all 2-dimensional and only takes up a bit of the screen always sort of bugged me...

One of the many reasons I'm waiting until October to get my iMac.

uh why dont you jus buy Leopard when it comes out. It's only $129 for an upgrade and there's nothing wrong with Tiger.

Werd. The dock in Leopard looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure if I like it better than clear dock.

Hmm...I'll have to check out this Leopard dock, I don't believe I remember what it looks like.

I like it, but I've been using ClearDock for some time so I don't know. I suspect I'll give the new dock a try, but if I don't like it, I'll go back to ClearDock.

Hmm..yes I love the reflections. I also like the new stacking ability, a very nice new feature.

whooaaa, first of all leopards dock is MINIMALLY varied from tigers so i really don't understand how you can hate one and like another, when they are so extremely similar...

I think my dock (yes I did say dock) looks better using cleardock. Is that a shelf under the items in Leopard's dock?

I contributed in another thread, but I think I'd find the reflection on the floor of Leopard's dock really distracting. I love the simple dock in Tiger, I set it really small so it keeps out my way. I LOVE the look of Leopard but the dock, meh. I prefer simple.

I like the look of Leopard's dock, but I agree that I think it would become distracting after a while, I'd probably reset it to the old one. It reminds me of the "r3ally kewl" transparency stuff in Vista - it looks nice, but why..?

I have no problems with the current Dock, like all things, it changes. Looking for new, whether or not improved in Leopard.

I have only ever used the current OS. In leopard do the icons hide like the do in the current version (and appear when you move your mouse) or are they there all the time?

You'll have the option, just as in Tiger.

It's a minor visual tweak. Looks nice to me.

As for as the dock goes in Tiger I think ClearDock is the only way to roll.
