Saving a Playlist From iPOd

I have an iPod nano with a really good on the go playlist with about 500+ songs in it. I would like to transfer the playlist to my mac, all of the songs are on the mac, but mixed in with my other 12000 songs so its really hard to go through and pick out all of the right ones. Is there a way to save the data from the on the go playlist on the ipod and use it to make a duplicate on my mac?
