I just got an HP monitor and have it hooked up to my MBP. I came back to use my MBP today and the external monitor was sleeping so I moved the mouse, all the normal stuff to wake up the computer but nothing would happen. I finally opened the lid for the MBP and tried pushing keys and still nothing happened. I finally had to hold down the power button for awhile and it came back on.
Is this normal? If not what else can I do?
