I was in my room last night I was taking out my toothbrush and toothpaste to brush my teeth before I go to sleep, and a small amount of water or a couple of drops landed on my mbp, one the screen but i got it before it landed at the edges (just water, not toothpaste) and one or two landed on the side speaker but sat like a dew drop so i was able to remove with no trouble... boy was I scared for a moment or so...

Something similar happened to be where I spilled a little bit of liquid on my MBP. The liquid just kinda beeded up on the speaker instead of going through like I thought it would. I don't know if any water actually got in, but I wiped it of and prayed none went inside. Haven't had any problems.
