Hi everyone,

Apologies for clogging the forums, but I didn't want to put this in an existing thread. Im looking at switching to a Mac, I have a hard drive at the moment full of music and images etc... If I was to convert the HD to a USB2 / firewire external HD (by using a external kit) would it work on a mac without having to format it ? (the drive is windows FAT32).

fat32 works fine on mac os X

however NTFS format does not work on mac. you can only read to it not write to it.
