I really need help! My PC is running on AMD Sempron 2400+ 1.66GHz, 1024 RAM, hdd maxtor S-ATA I 250G. I've downloaded two copies of Mac os X 10.4.8: Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso ; JaS.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.iso ; but neither worked. It stoppes at detecting kernel at startup: kernel 8.8.1 ... It might be the computer but I just want to know. i'm also running on x86. Can someone tell me which verson of Mac os should I use for it to work. (motherboard: Asus A7N8X-E deluxe, video GeForce FX 5500). Please help me!!! :'(

Well since running OS X on a PC is against the TOS, if you want to run OS X, go get a Mac. Otherwise stick with Windows or Linux.

OSX on a PC is just a hack. There's no official version of it. Ask at the place you got it from. This is the wrong place to get support.

There is no legal download available for Mac OS X.
The retail of Mac OS X will not run on anything but a Mac.
You don't need help... what you need is a Mac. :)
