I have a macbook, only about 7 months old. The battery has done 122 cycles, according to istat nano.
Recently its been going into sleep mode for no reason, while im working, and wont turn on again until i plug it in to power. I started looking at the power meter, and today it died when it still had 40% left. But, when i plugged it in and turned it on, the thing says 0%.
So. My question is, how do i fix it? Ive tried to re calibrate the battery, that didnt seem to do anything. Are there any other options? are there any programs that will actually measure the right amount of power in the battery? the battery meter doesnt seem to, neither does istat nano.

In addition to the Battery Update, please note that Apple has extended the warranty for all MacBook and MacBook Pro batteries to 2 years. If that doesn't correct your problem, give them a call for a replacement.

Is this batteries after a certain date? Can you elaborate more on this, I'm curious. Thanks.
