Hey everyone, I will be traveling soon to see family and I'm wanting to take my MacBook with me. Will my computer be OK going through the Xray machine and airport security? Any recommendations on a travel case?

I just recently travelled (NYC), and your going to be required to take the laptop out of any case or bag, and send it in the x-ray machine by itself. It shouldn't do any damage though, x-ray's are tiny amounts of radiation.

It will be fine. Mine was packed in a backpack and went through the xray machine at the LAX international airport and nothing happened to it.
