Coverflow = obsolete?

So it seems Coverflow has become nearly useless since Apple officially purchased it and incorporated it into new releases of iTunes. It can only grab art from artists that have contracts with Apple. Is there any decent art-grabbing software out there there that's compatible with Coverflow and new updates of iTunes? Or are you forced to download rare/uncatalogued (by Apple) album covers one by one?

If your album art is embedded into your music files, the covers will show up in iTunes' coverflow feature just fine.

There are a ton of great cover finding programs out there, personally I use CoverScout.

GimmeSomeTune will do it for you, without you having to do anything.

Every time you play a song that does not have a album art, software will fetch it from Amazon.com. Of course, you must have a correct name for your artist's album.

I don't work for Adium, but I'm happy I paid the 20 bucks for CoverScout. My iTunes library looks great now!!

Or go cheap... find the artwork online and drag-n-drop into the info box.

Ha, what giulio said. Now that 80% of my library is music purchased directly from iTunes, nearly all of my music came good to go. For those random albums that I owned that did not have images stored on the server, drag-n-drop works great.

Export your music library to the site and it bring the album covers for all the songs. Drag and drop but also free and easy.

i like this, but currently have no money.... (actually a negative amount can accurately portray the amount of money I have after I bought a new hood for my car).. i could wait for my next pay check, but just want to ask if there are any similar for free?

I find iTunes finds like 85% or more of all my albums. Maybe my albums aren't as obscure as other peoples? Sometimes I find the problem to be just changing the tags slightly, otherwise iTunes can't understand.
