Does anyone else have a problem with the Dock where it simply stops magnifying?

Very occasionally this happens, and the dock will not magnify whatsoever.

For the first time in a month or 2, it has just happened again.

Only a reboot will fix it.

Does this happen to anyone else, and is there a way to fix this problem?

Yeah it has happened a couple of times to me as well in the last 18 months I've had the iMac G5. I usually run MainMenu and clear out caches, then restart and it's good to go.

If you go into the terminal and type " killall Dock" it will restart the dock and should fix the problem.

I haven't experienced it in my MacBook since I got it in December 2006.

Ha I'm so un cool, still got them both running!
I did turn off the "move folder" & "open folder"
animation though. I have my dock super small so kinda need the magnification...
