Your Mac's Specs
Mac Book Pro 17" 2GB Ram, Intel Core Duo
ati radeon 1600 or the new geforce8600 chips for the new macs, personally unless your working with games exclusively or photoshop i don't think it makes any real difference, but what are your opinions ???

The X1600 is an old card, the MBPs needed the upgrade, especially for their cost. When Leopard comes out the graphics card will be doing a lot more too, so the faster card is good there too.
