I've got an external HD connected via USB, and I've setup my desktop to show item info.

However with my External HD it says 232.83 GB... .84 GB free.

Is there anyway of showing the entire line, instead of the ....

it should say:
232.83, 174.83 free

I've seen that issue before. And I don't think there is a solution.

Onyx, in the Parameters tab, then Finder, allows you to set two lines of text at the Label lines drop down, so it might show up. But then all icons would show two lines if the names are long enough.

You have to change the text size Finder>View>view options. I have a powerbook, and 10 or 11 pt works for me. 12pt gives me exactly what you're getting.
