Transfer images from iphoto to sd card?

another tip is that, if you do not select delete photos after download then the pictures are still in your camera or on the SD card.

I think is specific to Canon cameras only. I have a Canon SD700 and I have the same problem. It seems that Canon uses it's own file management system and If you don't install the software that comes with the camera, you can't transfer your files back and forth because the memory card won't show up as a removable drive on your desktop. I opted for the card reader aswell, as it was just easier.

i also use a card reader to save camera battery.
