what brand of ram should i use?

i'm planning to upgrade the memory of my macbook and i'm wondering what brand of ram card suits it the best. any suggestions?

There's a really easy way (once you know about it, that is) to find out which type of RAM your Mac needs.

In the Finder MenuBar, click on the Blue Apple Icon and select "About This Mac". Then in the window that opens, click on the "More Info" button.

This launches the System Profiler. In the left pane just click on Memory and look in the right pane where you'll see the relevant info.

i second crucial. i just upgraded from 1 gig to 2 gig and it works great.

Bumped mine up to 2Gig using "Crucial" as well. Solid company with great memory!
