Importing music into Garageband?

How can I import audio files into garageband? I have a few backing tracks that I wanna record myself over and I havent found a way to do this. Thanks in advance for your help.

Edit: ah you gotta drag it from the media browser. got it now.

simply drag and drag from any folder, desktop etc...
