is there a way to make your macbook a GPS device via some software? without having access to internet on the go.

that , can i install a software on macbook and use it as a gps device , i dont have a GPS device right now.

is there a program like Nroute?? I want to use my garmin IMG maps if possible.

Do you mean software that will connect to a GPS device to display your location on the Mac? (I'm not aware of any).

Or software that will enable your Mac to act as a GPS receiver? (impossible on any PC).
