Pages - more advanced functions

I used Pages for the first time this week when M$ Word was being rather annoying - and I loved it! Took some time to get used to though.

However, there are a few functions that I couldnt find, and either Im being dense or theyre not there, eg

does pages have symbols (eg greek alphabet? I take physics at uni...)?

I know its not meant to replace word, but it certainly comes pretty close, and Id have though symbols would be a basic thing for any word processing program to have.

The Character Palette is available in Pages as it is in Text Edit etc.
Easy way:
System Prefs > International > Input Menu > Show Input menu on menu bar.
I have the keyboard viewer ticked too as they both sit under the flag on the menu bar.
No complaints about the flag,;D New Zealanders have to put up with the Australian flag along with a US keyboard.
