Running os x 10.2.3 can't get real player to work...

Does anyone have any suggestions?

When I try to open the program the icon bounces on the dock and then disappears. I've tried deleting the program and reinstalling it and nothing works. Is there a special version I need? I appreciate and advice.

The current RealPlayer requires 10.3.9.
