I have just purchased my first macbook pro. It is a dual core 2gz. It has a wireless extreme card specs:
Type: IEEE80211
BSD Device Name: en1
Does this mean that my bookpro is Wireless N compatible already? I purchased the enabler for wireless n from apple and it won't mount telling me I don't have the appropriate hardware. Can someone help me? I thought these came ready for wireless N?::[

Location
Scotland
Your Mac's Specs
G4 1.3 powerbook, OSx 10.4
Device Name is just the unix name for the device location, nothing to do with '802.11n'.

I don't know about later Pro book compatibility, sorry!
