Hello,
Right now I am just awaiting the new iMac to come out to become an 'official' Mac man, until then I am still learning some things I am unclear of.
Currently I have a HD DVR through DirecTV. Some times I want to transfer a recorded show to a DVD, however the latest roadblock I am hitting is the DVD recorder I am using is saying it is copy protected. Is there any way to take shows off a DVR and transfer them to a Mac? I am hoping to get by the copyright problem. (Just to let you know, I like to do this to clear space on my DVR hard drive when I need to delete something but might want to watch it again.)
Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.
