Could this be true?! Is anyone else having problems installing Mac software on their new iMacs? I read on a forum somewhere that the new intel processor on the iMacs can't handle some of the Mac Software. Has anyone else had problems installing Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0? :[

I don't see why the new intel chips aren't compatible. I mean if the app is power pc, then rossetta kicks in, if it's natively, then yeah...

Are you personally having a problem installing software or are you just relaying some information you read elsewhere?

I personally have yet to find a piece of software, whether it was written for PowerPC or Intel, that has not worked on my Macbook. If a program isn't being installed, it's a problem with the software, not with the ability of the hardware to run it

Acrobat 7 installs fine on Intel Macs. I've done it myself.
