• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Good afternoon,
I putting together a small documentry of my cousin who passed away a month ago, a lot of work has been put into it since i work alone.
he did things with the poor man's copyright but since i have been given permission to make things right. I would like to know how i would i go about putting a copyright symbol at the end of the piece?
and being that i'm in the process of ascap for his music which will credit him as a writer and publisher, would this count for motion picture as well?

Thanks a lot!

Or you could just type "option + G" for the copyright symbol. ©
"option + R" for the registered symbol. ®
"optiion + 2" for the trademarked symbol. ™

System Prefs > International > Input menu > tick Character palette & Keyboard viewer plus tick show input menu in menu bar. You can then easily access all available characters.
