Your Mac's Specs
20" iMac Core 2 Duo 2.16Ghz, 500GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 128MB ATI Radeon X1600
Well, i recently switched to Mac (April 20) and I sometimes access files on my PC from my Mac through a network. But I keep seeing Windows system files and album art for music files etc.

I tried getting XRay to do it, but when I highlighted all of the album arts and tried to make them invisible, i was confronted with one 'are you sure?' message for each file, so I got about 200 messages all over the screen.

Is there a program out there that will either:
a) make all Windows hidden files into Mac invisible ones
or
b) let you mass-select files to make them invisible

Can anyone help me?

Type the following in Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores true

Then reboot...
