Energy Saver

Hi, I was wonder if there was a way to make a desktop shortcut or dock item to the energy saver panel in system preferences, or an app that can change it with a simpler interface

I'm on an iBook and would like to change the display and sleep timers when idle a lot and its a bit long doing it without shortcuts

and if theres any good programs that can keep the temperature down when idleing or not doing much
