Hi guys,
The family recently acquired a macbook pro from a family member who passed away. They did not have apple care and they have a password set on the computer and we have no idea what it is. The family has asked me to try to reset the computer to factory (we have the install disks) but it cannot be done without the password.
Can someone help me in wiping this out? The password isn't required to login to the comp so we were able to recover personal files and that sort of thing so simply reformatting it to new would suffice.
Thanks in advance for any info!
