The touch pad isnt't working

I bought an ipod mini about am month ago, and i go to scroll through my songs and the touchpad wont pick up my finger scrolling, i have to move my finger extremely fast around the touchwheel in circles to make it scroll through about 3 songs, the ipod has all the recent updates on it, the touchpad is clean, and my fingers are clean, it has been working fine besides the occasional freezing, but has anyone else had this happen to them?

[Edit] ironically, as soon as i was done with this post, i turned it on, and it worked perfectly. oh well, thanks anyways

well....if you have any more problems, call apple right away...before your 90 days of phone service are up.
