Tomorrow I'm going to go buy a light strip or whatever its called the ones that you can connect to the ide cables. But my only concern is will the light show up through the case I can't tell if the light will come through that well when the lights closed up inside?

Well, I've never heard of any lights that connect to IDE cables, but I think I know what you're talking about. I have seen many people that have lit up the outside plastic layer of G3 cases. It looks pretty cool, and as long as the light that you're using isn't really dim, then it should penetrate the casing fine.

And I was wrong I didn't mean Ide. What I was talking about were the 4 prong power cables coming off the power source.

My bad.

That's what I figured you meant. It looks pretty cool through the blue Apple logo though.

Where are you planning on putting the light? I have a LED 120mm fan in my B&W, but you can barely see it through the back. If you put it in between the metal case and the clear plastic part, it should light up quite well.

I don't think he's planning on using a fan. I think he's going more for a cold cathode or something like this. Those are what I have seen this mod. done with.
