MF history?

Could a long time user/mod/admin tell us a bit about MF's history? when was MF started? who started it? when did Inet take it over? have the mods and admins been the same sense day one?

Hey thats a great idea, since M-F is a community that we all enjoy it will be a great thing to know the history leading up to it.

Mac-Forums was started by emrys in October 2002. Many of the current mods and admins have been around since then, some are a little newer.

Was there ever a time when M-F didn't have the vBulletin style layout? That is one of the primary reasons I like this forum because I love how vBulletin styles their forums.

Originally MacForums was using Invision. We switched to vBulletin around late 2003 or early 2004.

HAHAHAHA! That's just funny. Sometimes schweb reminds me of Clive Anderson (the guy who hosted the show Whose Line is it Anyway?) because he gets cheap shots taken at him by the members here just like the members of the show would rip on Clive. Of course, nobody means it, it's all in good humor and it comes with the territory.
